HSE Policy

Ogani Integarted Services Limited is committed in ensuring that employees, consultants and contractors perform their tasks in a secured environment and that inherent risks have been identified and controlled, striving toward “Zero Accident” objective. Ogani Integarted Services Limited has therefore implemented an Occupational Health & Safety Management System based on OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 reqirements and applying the following principles:

  • Communicating our safety culture by promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Complying with National regulation, International best practices an applicable standards.
  • Monitoring personnel’s health to ensure employees are medically fit for the job they are assigned to.
  • Periodically lead internal audits and site inspections. Assessing risks and implementing
  • protection and prevention means.
  • Ensuring that personnel is provided with required experience, training, certificates and appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Discourage hazardous behavior, prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health.
  • Reducing Environmental impact of operations, managing wastes and promoting sustainable development awareness.

Our HSE policy and objectives are achieved through our management’s commitment to HSE programs in place, accident prevention and Health and Safety Insurance for every employee above and other consideration of any job operation or administration.

Our procedures give strict responsibilities for every employee’s health, safety and environmental protection.

Nigerian Content Policy

Our local content policy is galvanized by our resolve to build a world class company managed by well groomed Nigerian professionals. It is our policy to comply with the Nigeria Content Directive of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria on local content., materials, suppliers and manpower from Nigeria and to make use of services and facilities, professional or otherwise which are rendered by Nigerians or companies incorporated in Nigeria, except when after proper research, such services/facilities are not available in Nigeria. In line with the above, OGANI INTEGARTED SERVICES LIMITED shall create an environment that will allow for the maximization of local content and employment by providing the facilities and strategic location to enhance the development of Nigerian skilled labour and enterprise through:

  • Co-operating with clients, government, partners and other indigenous organizations to promote local content
  • Show commitment in meeting with the Nigerian Content targets of the Federal Government of Nigeria of achieving a minimum of 70% Nigerian Content, in terms of total monetary expenditures through the deliberate utilization of Nigerian human and material resources without sacrificing Safety, health and environmental standards.
  • Show commitment by deliberate addition or creation of value in-county via capacity building of locals, Technology transfer programs, Technology mentorship programs, increasing physical operational presence and investment in Nigeria, creating opportunities in human resources, development of Nigerian contractors and suppliers and implementing various innovation that will increase Nigerian content development in Nigeria.
  • Providing community related projects and youth development in the local communities where we work

The enforcement and implementation of this policy shall be the responsibility of the Managing Director. The Management, all and sundry shall work assiduously to abide by the above- mentioned policy and improve in our key performance indicators.
